Held for the first time in November 2016, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open was the first ever ladies professional golf event to take place in Abu Dhabi. Aiming to introduce something completely new and interesting into the world of Abu Dhabi sport, the competition opened doors and got people interested in ladies golf.
We were briefed to come up with a fun and creative structure system and entire fit-out to launch the tournament - infrastructures, toilets, lighting, power and AC, cabins, fit out, furniture and scaffolding. This was an opportunity for our client to really make use of our tailors and custom design specialities!
We provided a smaller scale hospitality set up on the 18th hole, and a scaffolding set up over the 9th and 18th hole, however our pièce de résistance on this specific project was the bright pink Stretch Tent that we constructed specifically for this client, something that worked to set the branding apart from other sporting events.
As this was the inaugural year of the event, we wanted to make an impact! The event was colourful, different and fun, and we needed to reflect that within our structures, emphasizing the Fatima Bint Mubarak Open's bold pink branding and aesthetic!
The overall result was a hugely successful premiere event, that was very well received by both client and guest.
