The DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai is the climax of the European Tour Race to Dubai - a prestigious and globally recognised premier tournament in golf, attracting the world's best golfers and a huge volume of fans into Dubai. At least 65,000 golf fans are expected to attend the tournament each year, with over 250 members of staff and a minimum 8 week preparation time for the event.
Since 2013 we have been on hand to provide the temporary structures that encapsulate the prestige and honour of the tournament, each year growing and expanding as the event develops. As avid golf fas will know, the action happens at the 18th hole! We are responsible for providing a substantial area for corporate hospitality, including chalets for the main event sponsors.
In addition to the main hospitality areas, we have also been proud to provide the rest of the event's temporary infrastructures including the Public Village, Media Center, toilet facilities, bars and all of the subsequent overlays, ultimately spanning over 5,000 sqm.
In order to fulfill the needs of this huge project, we make use of the majority of our range of structures, including Multi-form, Miniform, Marquee System, Zendome, Rondo and Stretch tents.
This brief allows us the opportunity to creatively design extremely high-tier solutions. For example, what originated in 2013 as a large single deck hospitality structure has now been redesigned as a multi-deck structure in keeping with demand. This has been completely custom designed to give the client exactly what they required.
Throughout working with DP World Championship, we have been honoured to see the event's success flourish, and have thoroughly enjoyed keeping the aesthetic new and exciting through our structures as the years progress. We look forward to many more years of collaboration.
