In September 2017, Wicked unveiled this innovative Neptunus Evolution event space, and became the first company to introduce the unique structure to the Middle East. The 4000m2 event space, which was erected at the Sharjah Expo Center, features a patented synchronized automatic hoist system that is virtually self-lifting, reducing both construction time and the manpower required. Despite its size, the internal design and insulation of the Neptunus Evolution space makes it cool, energy efficient and very fitting for Dubai’s unique environment. Due to its simplicity and efficiency, the Wicked team was able to complete construction and fit-out of the 40m x 100m space, including power, air conditioning and furnishing, in just 18 days.
To ensure utmost quality and highest standards, the project and site managers assigned to the venture were prepared by receiving training at the Neptunus offices in Holland earlier in the summer, familiarizing themselves with the structure specifications and allowing for direct and reliable exchange of information. The final delivery matched the high standard of the event and was a great success.
