In December 2017, Wicked participated in creating a full venue for the 2017 Beach Polo Cup Dubai. The event was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and organized in partnership with UAE’s leading event and brand management company, Mamemo. The Beach Polo Cup offers the audience a modern take on an old and privileged social experience and invite players from all around the world.
In just 7 days, the Dubai Skydive space on Dubai’s beautiful JBR beach was transformed into a specially fitted venue with a variety of structures, including Stretch tents, Saddle Spans and Multiform and Miniform Pagodas to accommodate seating for attendees, as well as the various exhibitions held during the event.
The décor and design of the venue was perfectly fitting of the prestigious event, which garnered multiple regional and international awards, including the WOW Awards Asia, as well ]as the 6th annual HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award.
Wicked has been proud to be involved with the projects since its inception in 2012.
